From Hugh James - Friday: Newgale, 70 whimbrel on the shore around midday. 2 sandwich terns. Today: Strumble Head. Wheatears everywhere, males & females. Just sit there and they come to the camera. 2 Choughs and a lone one. Whitethroat, stonechats, linnets. Swallows and martins coming through but no swifts. 2 kestrels were busy. Nothing of note out to sea.
